The Malawi Human Rights Commission (MHRC) and the Media Council of Malawi (MCM) successfully conducted the Annual Media and Access to Information Conference on September 26-27, 2024, at the Bingu International Convention Centre (BICC). The event brought together over 150 delegates, including media practitioners, civil society representatives, policymakers, and development partners, to engage in meaningful dialogue on critical issues surrounding media freedom and the public’s right to access information.
